Adrian Lindsey was born on August 9, 1969 to the late Willie and Lucy Lindsey in Bridgeton, NJ. He departed this life on May 31, 2026 at his home in New Castle, Delaware.
He was one of seven children. Adrian attended Camden, New Jersey Public Schools. He later returned to Bridgeton, New Jersey to finish his high school years at Bridgeton High School graduating in the Class of 1987.
In his younger years he worked at Sands Casino as a cook in Atlantic City, NJ. Adrian also worked at Cumberland County College as a custodian. He enjoyed watching sports and putting together model cars. Adrian enjoyed cooking meals for him and his wife. (He was a good cook) Adrian also enjoyed talking on the telephone with his large family, that was a big part of his day.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Shaylyn R. Lindsey of New Castle, DE, two daughters; Kiesha Scott of Bridgeton, NJ, Asia Price of Bridgeton, NJ, and one son Daetrell Lindsey of Bridgeton, NJ, five grandchildren; Jaiden Church, Aubrey Lindsey, Carter Lindsey, Knoah Townsend, and Knia Townsend, three sisters; Shirley Battle (Frank) Regina Lindsey and Denise Days all of Bridgeton, NJ, one brother Tavius Lindsey of Trenton, NJ, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Adrian was predeceased by his mother Lucy Lindsey, father Willie Lindsey, sister Lucy M. Lindsey and one brother Major Lindsey.
