Alice Curry was born September 23, 1935 to the late Ben and Jessie M. Dukes of Waynesboro Georgia. Alice moved to New Jersey in the 60's where she worked hard to raise her 3 sons, John Dukes of Waynesboro GA, Jeffrey Curry (address unknown) and Michael Curry, deceased.

She leaves behind two sisters, Leana M. Clark of Bridgeton NJ, Daisy Ford (Raymond) of Landover Hills MD. She is predeceased by her three sisters Mary M. Curry, Annie M. Abrams and Jessie Gilliam.

She also leaves behind three brothers, David Evans of Washington DC, Billy Evans of Atlantic City NJ and Bobby Evans. She is predeceased by her three brothers Willie J. Dukes, Ben Dukes and Joseph Evans.

She is also survived by a granddaughter of Millville NJ and two great granddaughters of Bridgeton NJ. She is predeceased by one grandson.

She leaves to cherish her memories a host of great-great grandchildren, beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved very much. She will be sadly missed by all of us.

God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were getting hard to climb. So he gently closed those loving eyes, and whispered, 'Peace be Thine'. The weary hours, the long days of pain, the sleepless nights are passed. And the ever striving worn out frame, she found sweet rest at last.
