Allan "Busha" Wellesley Smith, age 76, of Salem, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at his home on December 28, 2024.

Born in Kilmarnock, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, he was the son of Angella Myrie and Samuel Smith. He grew up in the district of Kilmarnock where he completed his elementary education and graduated from high school. He remained there for some time until he was given the opportunity to travel to the United States to reside with his father.

Before his retirement, Allan worked in maintenance at Mannington Mills, Inc. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to his job.

Allan is survived by children: Millicent, Vernon, Shyril, Marlon, Leon and Shanneth; Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He is pre-deceased by his son Junior Smith; parents - Angella Myrie and Samuel Smith; brother and sister(s).
