Anna L. Croft's Obituary

Anna Lee (Rivers) Croft, born on May 21, 1951, to the late Anna (KITTY) Lee Hadley Rivers and James Rivers, she went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2023 at home due to a lengthy illness.

She was born and raised in Bridgeton, NJ.  She also attended the Bridgeton Public School System.  Anna was employed at Seabrook Brother's and Son's, major-clothing, Adamo's, and she retired from Shoprite Bottino's in Bridgeton, NJ.  Anna was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board.  Anna was known for her strong will and independence.  Anna was a fan of wrestling & football (her team was the EAGLES).  She also loved cooking for her family, her chicken was her household's classic!  As well as her homemade cakes.

Anna was not one to play.  She barely smiled, but her demeanor was just how she looked, once you got to know her, she was a very caring and loving person.  She was an awesome mother, grandmother, auntie, and friend!

She leaves to mourn a daughter, Zorana (Sham) Rivers; four grandchildren, Shakeba Rivers, Julius Walker Jr,, Jalana Walker, Shyanna Walker; two great grands, Axryonna Walker and Zhy'Ace Gilmore Jr.; six nephews, Walter Rivers, Lee Rivers, Aaron Eubanks, Brian Spencer Sr., Troy Eubanks Sr, and James Eubanks; five nieces, Kimberly Rivers, Kelly (Rivers) McKnight Crosby, Demetria Rivers, Isha Rivers, Carol Rivers; cousin, Eric Elliott and a host of great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her late husband James Croft, six sisters, Betty Eubanks, Peggy Kelley, Priscillia Scippio, Laurel Royal, Ida Mae Riley, Lestina Rivers; one brother, Walter Rivers; her god mom, Clydie Mae Spencer; two nephews, Jared (Bonnie) Rivers and Champlin (Moke)    Rivers; one niece, Felicia (Spencer) Young; one great niece, Aaliyah Eubanks. She will be missed.  Her memories will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved her.
