Annie Leah
Baldwin
February 18, 1954 – January 8, 2020
According to His tender mercies, God in His infinite wisdom, has seen fit to move from our midst our beloved Annie Leah Bishop-Baldwin.
Annie affectingly known by "Leah" was born on February 18, 1954, in Goldsboro, NC. She was the daughter of the late Maurice T and Annie Ruth Bishop.
She attended Bartrum High School in Philadelphia, PA and later in life she met and married Louis Baldwin, Jr. After living in New Jersey for a few years, Leah joined Bethel AME Church in Millville, NJ. She devoted a lot of her time to family, friends and Junior. She was well loved and known by all.
Leah loved to spend time with her family and friends. Her heart was always opened to those she loved and so were her thoughts. You never had to guess where you stood with Leah because she always let you know. She loved hard and her final days were spent enjoying time with her family and friends. Those who were touched by her beauty understood that the quality of her life far exceeded the quantity of time she spent with them. She always went out of her way to show her love and bring joy in the hearts of all that surrounded her.
Preceding her one sister Marjorie Bivens
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of over twenty years Louis Baldwin, Jr.; five brothers, Maurice T. Bishop, Jr., Dwight D. Bishop, Levin L. Bishop of NC, Daniel. L. Bishop III (Lisa) of NJ, Joseph A. Bishop (Alohma) of PA; two sisters, Charmaine Bishop of PA and Nina Bishop of VA; sons, Maurice Bishop and Raymond A. Bishop both of PA; daughter, Leah D. Bishop of NJ; grandson, Joe M. Wooten III; three stepchildren, Louis Baldwin III (Danika), Tunesa R. Taylor (Morris) and Jeron Spence (Kateena). She also leaves a special cousin, Denise Bishop, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and a host of family and friends.
