Anthony L Brown's Obituary

Anthony "Boe Boe" Lawrence Brown was born on November 7, 1975 in Bridgeton, NJ to Frankie Mae Brown and the late Anthony  Lawrence  Lindsey.  After an extended stay in the hospital, Boe Boe parted this earth on June 6, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Boe Boe had a kindred spirit and enjoyed  making others laugh.  He often referred to  himself as being the Hulk and he would walk around flexing his muscles.

Boe Boe split most of his childhood in   Bridgeton and Camden, New Jersey.  As a young child, he attended Bridgeton Public School District and Camden City Public Schools.  As an adult, Boe Boe dabbled in jobs in an array of fields, including holding  positions at T-Fal and Santa's Best in Vineland, NJ.  He also worked odd jobs as a  painter, doing mild construction work, and in the agricultural fields.  In his leisure time, Boe Boe enjoyed listening to country music, playing kickball, tag ball, skating, fishing, and racing.  His sisters recalled an event when Boe Boe raced and dusted his sister Cee-Cee.  While Boe Boe enjoyed getting a chance to do his favorite hobbies, what he really loved was his favorite aunt- Alice.  He called his aunt  Alice to check on her more than he called anyone else.  Boe Boe also loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Boe Boe was preceded in death by: his father,   Anthony Lindsey, and his grandparents, Homer Brown and Fannie Lee Burns Brown.  He leaves to cherish his memory: his long-time companion, Retha Cook; his mother, Frankie Mae Brown (Bridgeton); sisters, Tameka Brown and Taneesha Robinson (both of Bridgeton); brother Timothy Brown (Vineland); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  This kindred soul will be missed.
