Arthur Seabrook transitioned from this life on October 24, 2026, after a lengthy battle with prostate cancer.
Arthur was born in Pompano Beach, Florida, to Inell (Harrison) Seabrook and Willie Seabrook. He was one of seven children. The family later moved to Bridgeton, New Jersey, where he was educated in Fairfield Township schools and graduated from Bridgeton High School. Following high school, Arthur married his high school sweetheart, Judith, and from their union, Arthur Seabrook Jr., and Erica Hill were born. He later married Joyce Duren Seabrook, and together they adopted a son, Arthur Seabrook II.
Arthur pursued graduate studies at Pierce Business School in Philadelphia, PA. before leaving to serve in the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge, he worked in the Camden City School system.
Arthur eventually pursued his entrepreneurial ambitions, including a Car Wash and a bail bondsman business in Bridgeton, New Jersey. His business ventures later took him to Los Angeles, California, where he focused on the real estate industry.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Arthur had a true love for health and fitness, which led him to run numerous marathons in Los Angeles and New York City. He took great pride in his accomplishments, earning many medals.
Arthur had a genuine compassion for helping others. He demonstrated his generosity by serving meals to the homeless and providing transportation for individuals in need.
Arthur later returned to New Jersey to help care for his mother during her illness.
Arthur sang in the men’s choir and later received Christ into his heart at Union Baptist Temple.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, both of his wives, his adopted son, and his siblings, Ella McDonald (Jimmy), Thelma Marie Seabrook, Wilmer Nell King (John), John Seabrook (Delores), and Alfonso Seabrook.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Arthur Seabrook Jr.; his daughter, Erica Hill (Donald); his brother, Clarence Seabrook (Yvette); his sister-in-law, Margo Seabrook; his grandchildren; Jonathan Seabrook, Dale Seabrook, Rachel Seabrook, Makayla Seabrook, Arthur Seabrook III, Kristopher Seabrook, Mach Jackson (Christina), Eric Jackson, Amanda Hill (Raymond), Donald Hill Jr., 5 great grandchildren and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
