A'Shan "Shan Bon" Simmons was born on March 3,2010, in Mannington, NJ to Shana' Turner and Timothy Simmons Sr. A'Shan attended the Christiana School District up until the 9th grade. He enjoyed watching cartoons and football with Pop-pop Joe and they loved the 49ers.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother and father, Shana & Timothy. His Grandparents Joseph Turner Sr., Georgeanna Allen and Lynda Simmons, Great-Great Grandma, Vermon Hill. Siblings: A'Shalyn, A'Shya, A'Shir, Timothy Jr., Timora, Tim'Myiah, Tim'Maj, Onesty, Maloni, Melody, Jaaliyah and Tim'Mar. A host of aunts,uncles, cousins and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Exceptional Care for Children of Newark, Delaware, especially Shan's Nurses Lynn Javornicky-Hayes and Renee Smallwood.
