Barbara Ann Rhett, better known to us as " Bones" 69 of Vineland NJ departed this life on November 1, 2025 at home due to health complications. Barbara was born on October 16, 1956, to the late John and Fannie Rhett. Barbara attended both Cedarville and Bridgeton public school systems. Throughout the years, Barbara was employed at several local factories until earning her Nurses Aid certification where she was employed at Seashore Gardens Nursing home as a nurses aid until retiring in 1998. Barbara had an infectious smile that would light up any room. Her positive attitude was shown everywhere she went. Barbara helped any and everybody she came in contact with, leaving a lasting impression on those she encountered. Barbara was the life of the party. She was always somewhere "Jamming to music." Barbara loved reconstructing her wigs to fit her own style, she had a green thumb for growing household plants, Barbara was very compassionate about helping family, friends, and total strangers. Barbara had a deep desire to learn all that she could about God and Barbara loved God with all her heart. Barbara was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church under the direction of Dr. James A. Dunkins, where she served on the Greeting Committee and on the Usher board.
Barbara is survived by her children, whom she loved dearly, Romaine Rhett Sr. of Millville NJ, Donna Rhett of North Carolina, Kalvin Rhett of Millville NJ, and Disha Rhett of Florida. Barbara is cherished by her grandchildren, Romaire Rhett, Rodasisha Rhett, Majisty Rhett, Romaine Rhett Jr., Ro'Nayah Rhett, Rosaun Rhett, Romiya Rhett, Da'Keria Rhett, and Kalvina Rhett. Barbara was a loving grandmother to her bonus grandchildren as well; Great grandchildren: Braelynn Rhett, Maison Rhett, Laila Succes, Yasir Succes, Ahmaud Succes, and Raleigh Rhett. Barbara is also survived by her brothers: John Rhett Jr.of NJ, Andrew Rhett, of NJ Victor Rhett Sr. of NJ, Charles Rhett of NJ, Jonathan Rhett of NJ, Kalvin Rhett of NJ, Diondray Rhett Sr.,of Pennsylvania, a bonus brother Micheal Shelton of NJ, Sisters: Patricia Spencer (George) of NJ, Darlene Antonelli (Thomas) of Pennsylvania. A special Sistah, Rachel Rhett, a Goddaughter Jaylen Rhett along with a host of nieces and nephews in which she had a special bond with them all.
Barbara was preceeded by her parents John and Fannie Rhett, 2 grandsons Roshaud Rhett, Japree Rhett, and brother Jimmy Rhett.
