Bishop Ellis M. Davis Sr., was born on October 14, 1958 in Wilmington, DE to the late Paul Lee and Margaret Davis. He went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2021.
He was married to Patricia A. Davis for 42 years.
Bishop Davis was a retired employee from Leesburg State Prison and Pastor of the Crusaders For Christ.
He was a faithful member of Glory Tabernacle Empowerment Center, where he served as Bishop/Prayer Line Host. He served as a Missionary in Africa and India.
He was a loving and caring Father, Father-In-Law, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to anyone that knew he loved them. He was known as a Man of Faith and a Prayer Warrior.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patricia A. Davis of Bridgeton, NJ; two Sons: Ellis M. Davis Jr., Michael C. Brown (Angelica) both of Bridgeton NJ; one Daughter: Christina M. Davis of Millville NJ; Daughter-In-Law:
Kylesha Davis of Vineland. NJ; Two Brothers: Nathaniel Davis
of Wilmington DE, Dion Davis of Fredrick, MD; Two Sisters: Sharon Smith, of Atlanta GA; Paula Putney of Wilmington DE; Two Goddaughters: Octavia Adams, Jerica Jennings; Two Godsons Trei Drye (Felicia), Moses Molina (Yuliana). Seven Grandchildren; Four God Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
He was predeceased by three Brothers: Sir Will Lazarus, Anthony Davis, and Donald Davis, and one sister Mary C. Davis.
