Brenda A. Guilford was born on December 16, 1946 to the late Mattie Mae Johnson Guilford Reynolds and Prince Rupert Guilford Sr. Brenda departed peacefully on June 17, 2020.

She attended Richland, Buena, and Minotola public schools. Brenda worked at the State School West Campus, Wheatons, and Sheppard Bus company. She also served on the Johnson/Guilford family reunion committee.

Brenda was a firm, yet free spirit person. She was tough enough to tell you the honest truth but tender enough to show you that she still cared. Brenda especially loved her family, making it a priority to keep family first. This was demonstrated as her heart and home was always open to those in need. She will be remembered by many things. Her home remedies, special love for cooking, and a laugh that could lighten up a room.

She often had good times at Jonsey, Brotmanville lodge, Uncle Dueys, and family events. All capturing a quote she stated, "live life to the fullest and enjoy one another."

She leaves to join her Mother Mattie and Father Prince Rupert Sr., Sisters; Dorian, Juanita, and Dolores. Brothers; Prince Rupert Jr. and James. Daughter, Edith. She departs to cherish her daughter Sherrie Guilford, sons Brian Guilford (Carolyn), Troy Guilford (Natosha), and Mario Guilford. She leaves to cherish a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Brenda, your presence on this planet will be deeply missed and we will forever carry your memories in our hearts.
