Brian Kenneth Hardy Sr. (Kenny), 70, of Bridgeton, NJ passed away after a brief illness on March 27, 2023, at Cedar Grove Respiratory and Nursing Center, Williamstown, NJ.  He was born February 12, 1953, in Vineland, NJ, the son of Samuel  Henry and Marjorie Juanita (Downing) Hardy.

Kenny was educated in the Vineland School system and graduated from Vineland Senior High, Class of 1970.  In 1971, Kenny married Sylvia Mae (Myers) Hardy and this union brought forth three children, Brian Jr., Daniel and stepdaughter, Vanessa In 1972,

Kenny enlisted in the US Marines and received an honorable discharge on January 18, 1978.
Kenny was self-employed.  He owned and operated his own truck, which he drove until 2018.  He enjoyed driving trucks all over the United States.  Being on the road was exciting for him.  He also built hot rods and he worked on all types of engines.  Kenny was a member of Brothers of the Bell Motorcycle Club.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Sylvia, his son, Brian Kenneth Hardy Jr. and stepdaughter, Vanessa (Myers) Forman.

He leaves many fond and precious memories for his son, Daniel Henry Hardy; four grandchildren, Jada White of Pennsylvania and Rian Hardy of Vineland, NJ, Lee and Justin Vann of New Jersey and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
