Brian Keith Stubbs, affectionately known as “Baye-Skee,” was born on February 24, 1975, to the late Margie M. Miller and Bobby Stubbs Sr. He departed this life on March 22, 2026, at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ, after courageously battling with an illness for the past six years. He was 51 years old.

Brian was a man who loved deeply, laugh loudly, and brought people together. He was the kind of person you could always count on to make you smile, share a story, or fire up the grill for family and friends. Whether he was fishing, crabbing, barbecuing or simply enjoying time with loved ones, Brian found joy in the simple things and made every moment count.

An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Brian proudly cheered for his team through every season. He also had a very special bond with his beloved dog, Missy, who brought him endless love and companionship.

Brian attended Bridgeton Public Schools and was known in his younger years as an outstanding athlete in the Bridgeton Midget League, where he proudly wore his favorite jersey number 7 and 33. His athletic ability, competitive spirit, and love for the game were evident from an early age.

He was a hardworking man who held positions with Bob and Wayne, Citgo Gas Station and Enterprise Car Detailing. Brian took pride in his work and in providing for himself and those he loved.

If you were ever looking for Brian, chances are you could find him at home, surrounded by family, laughter and good energy - especially if he and his brothers Bobalik, G-Wiz, Chock, and Philly style were deep into one of their favorite card games, “Mouse.”

Brian treasured his family and he especially loved his nieces and nephews deeply. He also shared a special and lasting bond with his closest friends, who meant the world to him. His best friends - James Brown Sr., (Shiney), Alphonso McClendon (Junebug), Silky Moon, Gary “G” Adams and Kenny King - were an important part of his life and he made sure to stay connected with at least one of them every day.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory his loving siblings; Bobby Stubbs Jr., Marie Stubbs, Dereck Stubbs, Shannon (Latonya) Stubbs, Micheal Stubbs Jr., Deisha Rhett, Denise Sudler and Jerron Watson, a special friend Carla Sudler, God parents Bernie Butler and Anna McRae. He was predeceased in death by his parents Margie M. Miller, Bobby Stubbs Sr. and a beloved brother Jermaine Stubbs.

For the last six years, Brian fought against his illness with strength courage and determination. He gave it everything he had and fought a good fight all the way until the Lord called him home.

Though Brian’s presence will be deeply missed, his memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter, loyalty, love for family & the way he brought people together will never be forgotten. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
