Carolyn Jean Warters was called home to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 79, on March 2, 2021. Carolyn was born on February 10, 1942 in Bridgeton, NJ to the late Ernest and Mattie Pierce. She was one of 16 children born of this union.

Carolyn worked early on at a local textile company before going to work in the casino industry, from which she retired. Carolyn was a very loving wife and mother, who truly loved her family and friends. She especially enjoyed traveling around with her sisters. Carolyn would make any sacrifices needed for her beloved boys; Mark, Alan, and Michael.

She leaves to cherish in her memories her husband Courtney R Warters, three sons, Courtney (Denise) Warters, Michael (Natalie) Warters, Mark (Sonya) Warters, and a step daughter Linda (Cleveland) Poole. Carolyn also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren,
8 brothers and sisters, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers : Ernest, Charles, and Edwin and sisters : Anna, Mary Louise, Joyce, and Florence.
