Charles Edward Murphy's Obituary

Charles Edward Murphy was born  September 6, 1957 to Alice and  Willis Murphy. He transitioned from this life on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.

Charles graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1975.  He was industrious and enjoyed mechanical work on vehicles and motorcycles.  He loved being the human caretaker of dogs and assisted others with good dog nutrition and breeding practices. Charles was also an avid fisherman.

Charles worked for Clement Pappas, Nardelli Farms and Millville Airport Museum, he retired in 2019.  Charles was family oriented and in retirement he spent more time nurturing family relationships.  Charles charitable character was exhibited in his altruistic care for others and handyman repair work extended to neighbors, elderly and family members.

Charles accepted the Lord as a young adult.  He was a  member of New Hope Baptist Church, Cedarville NJ. Charles was sure of his salvation! He often quoted, I John 5:12, "He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life."

Charles leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Alice and Willis Murphy; two sisters, Joyce Murphy Allen (Ellis); Josephine Murphy White (John); one Godsister, Shirley Manning (Bobby); one Godbrother, Cherylton McRae; one daughter,  Wendy Loatman (Bobby); two sons, John Loatman, and Charles E. Murphy Jr (Jonnette), 8 grandsons, his companion of 28 years, Mildred Walker; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
