Chel'Mar A. Townsend transitioned from this life to his eternal life, unexpectedly, at the age of 14. Chel'Mar was born on November 11, 2008, to Chellie Townsend Sr. and Alexandria Holley.

He was a graduate of Lakeside Middle School in Millville, and was an amazing artist, who specialized in drawing. He loved wrestling and was an avid football player.

Chel'Mar loved tossing around the football with his brother and his friends, however, the football field was his playground with the ability to drive the game.

Chel'Mar was introduced to football by his father and coach, Chellie, where he learned the basics of his favorite game. At just 5 years old, he joined Millville's Midget Football League, where he learned to utilize his strengths under Coach Sherwood.

Later in life, he would transfer to Vineland Midget Football League to play under Coach Chellie, where he learned to hone in on his craft and shine on the field by giving it his all. Chel'Mar enjoyed hanging out with his two best friends Rakeem Stubbs and Raejon Mayes and a very special friend Cheyenne Ratliff.

Chel'Mar is survived by his parents, Chellie Townsend Sr. and Alexandria Holley of Millville, NJ; Maternal Grandfather, Alexander Holley; Paternal Grandparents, Alcedie and Ruth Townsend; siblings, Melvin (Juliece) Kent, Melquan Kent, Dezire Holley, Martries Barnes, Chelnaiza Townsend, Chel'Niyah Townsend, and Aaron Townsend.

He is preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother, Virginia A Lowers-Blackwell.
