Cheryl Ann Brookings 60, returned to her heavenly home on August 7, 2019 after a valiant
battle with cancer. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her
struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Cheryl was born to the late Cornelius H. Johnson and Annie F. (Jewett) Johnson on February
27, 1959 in Vineland, NJ. She graduated from Vineland High School in 1977 and worked at the
Vineland Developmental Center as an STPA.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Cheryl also loved cruising, BINGO and card
games with her twin brother.

Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which
she shared with those who surrounded her.
Cheryl joins her brother Eugene Johnson and son in law Shelton Mason in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband Timmy Pierce; her daughters Tyreasea A. Johnson-Mason and Eartha
L. Smith; brothers Earl Johnson, Lyndon Johnson and Brian Johnson and sister Cornelia
Johnson her grandchildren Willie, Tye-Rell, Tynicha, Tyshaun, Trinadee and Matthew as well as
seven great grandchildren.
