Christine
Fraley
December 25, 1929 – March 9, 2021
Long time resident of Pittsgrove Township NJ, Christine (Shaw) Fraley died March 9, 2021 peacefully at her home under Hospice care surrounded by her loving family.
Christine was born on Christmas Day to the late Fred and Makeeva Shaw in Newton, Mississippi. She relocated to New Jersey during her teenage years and attended Vineland High School. There she met and married the love of her life, the late Harold Fraley.
Christine was the ultimate homemaker and served as the neighborhood watch. She often worked on the Salem County Election Board. After the passing of her husband to keep herself socially involved she worked at Rowan University formally known as Glassboro State College, which allow her to interact with the younger generation.
A decades long member of Friendship Baptist Church of Brotmanville, she oversaw the content and printing of the weekly church bulletin.
Christine leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, daughters Marsha, Sarah Lynn (Paul Ross), sons Howard (Tracy Brown), Christopher, grandson Trevor Fraley and sister Authurene Reaves. She will be greatly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and her "neighborhood daughters and son" Diann, Carolyn, Cathy, Sandy and Jeffery.
