on Friday, July 2, 2021 David A. Showalter passed of natural causes at the age of 54. David was born on August 31, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio. He proudly served in the Marine Corps as a Pvt. 1st Cl.  During his time in the Marines he was a Rifle Marksman and an Aviation Mechanic after being honorably discharged from the service.  David worked a series of jobs including; lumberjacking, and customer service before he found his true calling and became a landscaper.

David had a passion for the outdoors.  He enjoyed; camping, hunting and fishing.  He also had a love for carpentry and would often make gifts and furniture for his family.  David had a love for dogs and adpoted many throughout his life.

David was preceded in death by his father Robert, his mother Shirley and his brother Bill.  He is survived by his son K C, his daughter Dakota, his daughter in law River, his brother Ken, his sister in law Gerrie and his sister Cherie.  He is also survived his nieces and nephews; Jessica, KJ, Christopher, Amanda and many great nieces  and nephews.
