Deborah Anne
Boykin
November 30, 1968 – June 2, 2023
Deborah Anne Boykin, fondly known as Debbie, was born November 30, 1968 to Barbara E. Boykin of Bridgeton, NJ and William Mallory of Washington, DC.
Deborah spent her formative years in Bridgeton and was a graduate of Bridgeton High School where she was an accomplished scholar and talented performer in musical and performing arts activities. Like her grandmother Pauline Boykin, Deb had quite an artistic flair. She furthered her education at Franklin and Marshall College where she followed a course of study in pre-med with a concentration in chemistry, majoring in sociology and minoring in art, graduating in 1990. Deborah spent the last twenty-five years as a Camden County, NJ resident.
She enjoyed cooking, singing, and helping her neighbors. Her favorite color was pink, and she often smelled of roses and patchouli oil. People often referred to her as "Miss Debbie" or "Aunt Debbie"; she was named after both her mother's sisters Pauline Anne and Deborah Lynn.
Deb leaves behind 4 children, William, Blake, Noah and Anyalise; her sisters, Nissa Loatman and Melinda Boykin, and their families; her siblings on her father's side; her mother Barbara Boykin, and her mother's siblings, and their families; and all those who grieve the passing of someone love.
