Diana Michelle Pitts was born in Bridgeton, NJ on March 30, 1958, to the late Chouncey O. and Naomi (Moore) Pitts.  On April 23, 2024, while a patient at Inspira Salem Hospital, Salem, NJ surrounded by her loving family, Diana transitioned from this world and entered eternity on the wings of angels.

Diana, better known as Dee Dee" or Dee", attended Quinton Elementary (Quinton State Dominates) and graduated from Salem High School with the Class of 1976, where she played Varsity Softball.  As a Business major, Dee was on of only four students from the class of 7 accepted into the DuPont Stenographic Training Program and awarded a scholarship to Goldey-Beacom College, Wilmington, DE. After graduation, she worked at DuPont, Bechtel Power, McDonald's and Mannington Mills.

Dee was a devoted mother and grandmother and would do anything in her power for her children and grandchildren.  She was also a natural-born nurturer, and without hesitation, became the primary care giver to her parents, and brother, Steve, when they became ill, until their passing.  She loved to read, crochet, listen to good gospel and classic (the 70s) RLB music, teach Sunday School, and spend time with her family (cook-outs in the yard; spring planting and canning with Theresa; lunch, shopping, or talking/visiting with her aunts; talking about anything and everything with Uncle Doug; and laughing and acting up the Nin and Cheryl. She loved the Eagles, and you absolutely could not talk to her when her Phillies were playing, but her absolute favorite pastime was watching her grandchildren run and play outside, enjoying "country" life as much as she did.

Dee leaves cherished memories with her children, Marquee and Brittany Pitts; 12 grandchildren: Quadreia Bundy (who she raised), Khloe Bubier, Isaiah Carn, Zoe Forrstrom, Jae'Onnah Morris, Marquasia, Jawan, Javion, Breahj'na  & Destinee Pitts, Marquee Pitts, Jr., and Audri Ruiz; five great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Pitts, Salem, NJ; brothers: Darryl, Quinton, NJ and Derek "Scott" and Dionne Pitts, Carneys Point, NJ; devoted aunts and uncle: Carol and Harry Wells, Patricia Pace, Paulette, Pamela & Douglas Pitts, and Annette Pitts-Craig; nieces and nephews: Brock, Brianna, Jazmine, Octavian and Shareese Pitts, and Secoya Robinson; adopted sisters: Sandra Russell (who resided with her), Glinda Corbin and Cheryl Atwell; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
