Dorothy Ann Ellis, 54 of North Carolina departed this life on Thursday April 22, 2021 following an illness she bravely fought.

Affectionately known as Dot, she entered the world on January 8, 1967 in Vineland, NJ.  She was the eldest daughter of Alice Ellis.

Dot was a graduate of Cumberland Regional High School and began a career of customer service while still in school.  She delighted people with her big smile and kindness at Dunkin Donuts, Value City,  Rite Aid, and countless other businesses that were privileged to call her employee and coworker.

Above all, Dot's dedication to her family was the driving force in her life.  Being a loving daughter, big sister, and fun aunt were the most significant roles she held.  Dot is best described as consistent helper, kind friend, and loyal confidant.

An avid Wrestling fan, Dot was often found cheering for her favorite fighters or assembling one of the hundreds of puzzles she has completed.

Dot was preceded in death by her fathers Harry Brown and Theodore Ellis, Sr.

Dot will be missed and loved. She leaves precious memories for her mother, Alice Ellis; brothers Brian (Michelle) Ellis-Pierce, Theodore (Nikki) Ellis Jr., sister LaShawn Ellis; lifelong friend Stephanie; 6 Nephews Jeffrey, Theodore III, Tyrell, Isaiah, Tyler, Tariq; 6 nieces Jasmin, Nishae, Melissa, Brianna, Nyasia and Nikkole; 2 Great-nephews and 7 Great-nieces.
