Edith B. Guilford affectionately known as Bernice was born on May 11, 1964 to Brenda A. Guilford and the late Edward Thompson Sr. Edith departed peacefully on June 3, 2020.

She attended Richland, Vineland, and Buena schools, concluding with graduating from Buena High School class of 1982. Edith worked at the State School West Campus, Claridge, Bally's/Wild Wild West, and most recently Kintock Group.

She was such a people person who loved and touched many. She was the life of the party, a dancing machine, and loyal to her loved ones! Edith especially loved her children and grandchildren leaving a lasting impact of memories that they will cherish forever. Committed, consistent, and compassionate are few of the many words that can be used to describe Edith. She never skipped a beat, showing up and adding value to every significant event.

She leaves to join her father Edward Thompson Sr and brother Edward Thompson Jr. Edith departs to cherish her mother, Brenda A. Guilford, her loving children, daughter Nashea Thomas-Hunter (Brian Hunter Sr.), daughter Quandria Warren, son Richard H. Warren Jr. (Ebony Warren), granddaughters A'naysha Rivera and A'Riyah Evans, grandsons Raeed Clark Jr., Andrew Rivera Jr, Richard H. Warren III, and expecting a grandchild unknown sex arriving in December. She cherishes her brothers, Brian Guilford (Carolyn Guilford), Troy Guilford (Natosha Guilford), Christopher Thompson, and sisters, Sherrie Guilford, Maxine Motley (Alvin), Gina Tillman (Joe), Faith Goldsboro (George), Charlene Harden (Jason), and Selina Thompson.

Edith, we will always carry your memory in our hearts. "Seriously" until we meet again.
