Elaine Robinson Kennedy of Vineland, NJ went home to be with the Lord January 27, 2021. She was born on May 10, 1948 in Philadelphia PA. to the late Haywood Gay and Elizabeth Gay.

As a little girl Elaine moved to New Jersey with her family and later graduated from Bridgeton High. School. She moved to Philadelphia continuing her education at the Community College of Philadelphia and graduating with her bachelor's degree from Temple University. She was a dedicated member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Vineland, NJ for 19 years. Elaine read her Bible and meditated on the word daily. Her favorite scripture was 2 Cor. 5:7 "For we walk by faith, not by sight."

Elaine worked and retired as a Securities Operations Senior Specialist from the Fidelity Investment/ Fiserv Securities Brokerage Company of Philadelphia Pa. Prior to working for Fidelity Investment she worked 10 years as a Stock Dividend Supervisor for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. After retirement Elaine worked for Newfield National Bank and the NFI Industries in Vineland NJ. In her spare time, Elaine enjoyed going to the beach, shopping, making jewelry, sewing, and traveling.

She treasured and loved every moment with her family. Elaine was a thoughtful, loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. So many of us will remember Elaine as supportive, giving, compassionate, loyal and a true friend.

Elaine was predeceased by her father Haywood Gay; great grandson Aries Bennett, sister Rosemarie Robinson and brother-in-law Robert Kenzslowe Sr.

Elaine leaves to cherish her legacy: Tom Kennedy, mother, Elizabeth Gay, daughters, Lisa Danley, Lenore Danley of Vineland NJ and Latonia Danley of Philadelphia; granddaughters, OcQuiliia Scurry, Shakima Danley, Nyree Franklin, and Shaniya Danley, Brittany Carney, Monica and Myasia  Watons grandsons, Antonio Danley and Vincent Scurry Jr., great -grandchildren Brian Hunter Jr.,Bricere Hunter, BriAisha Hunter, Ah'Layah Dawkins, Vincent  Scurry 3rd, Serani E. Scurry, Heaven  Danley, Harmony Danley, Autumn Danley, Braylyne Stith, Kanai Stith, Antonio Danley Jr., Sky Danley, Kaiyanie Bennett, Kassidee Bennett, Achilleus Bennett, and Rhiannon, brothers Haywood Robinson(Vera) and Bernard Gay both of Millville, sisers, Carolyn Gay of Millville, Wanda Kenzslowe, Jannell Gay(Allen ), Jacqueline Kennedy( Charles), and Liz Gay (Bobby) all of Vineland, Barbara Robinson of Millville, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
