Elgenun Carson DeShields 64 years young of Atlantic City, NJ  departed on August 6, 2022 He was born on October 12, 1957 to the late Antoinette Askins ,Robert Forman and Step father Lewis Askins in Chester, MD.

Elgenun was a Labor worker in his early years. St. John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Isaiah 57:1 SAYS Good people pass away the godly often do before their time but no one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come which means that because God can see the end from the beginning sometimes in his mercy he takes people home early.

He leaves to cherish his memories 2 daughter Darlene DeShields of Millville NJ, Natalie DeShields of Fairton NJ, One Step Son Elgenun Parish of Millville NJ. 2 brothers Nathaniel DeShields of California, Precede by brother Robert L. DeShields, 4 sisters Lavinia Easton of Neptune NJ, Viola Pierce of Millville NJ, Clara Crawford of Millville NJ, Jeanette DeShields of Millville NJ, One brother in law Tony Pierce of Millville NJ. 11 grandchildren and 6 great grand children Many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was a caregiver for many including his nieces and nephew. He was very outgoing and very friendly to anyone he met. He was a huge fan of pro wrestling and he loved the Eagles. Elge, will be missed by many for his child like humor. Elge accepted the lord in his early 40's , Elge has been sick for many years, he said he was getting tired so god decided to end his suffering and call him home
