Eliza Doris Cobbs of Brotmanville N.J. was born on December 29, 1947 in South Boston Va. She moved to Bridgeton, N.J. in 1960 and completed her education in the Bridgeton School System. She later met and married Joseph Cobbs, and together they have four Children, William (Kenny) Lawson (Sheila) of Vineland N.J. Faith Lawson of Brotmanville N.J. Charles (Chase) Lawson of Vineland N.J. and Tracy Lawson of Seabrook N.J.

After extensive illness Eliza (Liza) transition from this life, on October 1, 2016 at Cooper Hospital. She enjoyed being a wife and mother. She loved life, and people, especially children. People were drawn to her bright warm smile.

Inclusive of the names above she also leaves to cherish her memory 3 sisters, Mary Nixon (Sherman) of Seabrook N.J. Linda Lawson and Grace Lawson of Vineland N.J. 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. And a special friend (Sister) Patrica Allen.

She is predeceased by her mother, Kattie Lawson, 3 brothers, Winfield, John and Thomas Lawson 1 sister, Florence Bonner.
