Elizabeth Mae Smith, 81, affectionately known as Sugie, Wooga, Suga Mama and Beautiful was born March 6, 1944 in Salem, NJ to Francis Demby and John Thomas Daniels Sr.

Elizabeth wasn't alone when she was born, she had a twin brother Edward Daniels who she loved greatly.

Elizabeth departed this life on November 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She married Wallace H Smith Jr in 1965 and from that union, four children were born.

Elizabeth was employed at Salem County Nursing Home for over 30 years before she retired as Head Cook.

Elizabeth was a member of the Glassboro First SDA Church, where she served as deaconess and treasurer.

Elizabeth loved spending time SHOPPING, cruising, traveling, and watching (Hood movies). She also loved being around her family, whether it was going out with her sisters, trips with her daughters or hanging with her grandchildren joking around.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her beautiful smile, sense of humor and being silly. She was also the family rock who could always be counted on.

Elizabeth leaves to honor her memory three daughters, Marvetta Smith and Lisa Smith of Newark, DE; Tonya Smith of Salem, NJ  and one son Elgin Smith of Salem NJ. Grandchildren Adrian Davis (Maceray), Tanequa Smith, Mickel Smith, Franklin Howard IV, Nacir Smith, Tazjmere Howard Sr, Khadation Smith, Kha'Liyah Smith and honorary granddaughter Haneesa Charles.  Great grandchildren Mickel Smith Jr, Mariah Howard, Cyan Davis, Tazjmere Howard Jr, Franklin Howard V and one soon to come.

Two brothers John Daniels Jr and Douglas Daniels, three sisters, Evelyn Wilson, Harriet Thomas, Doris Daniels and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her twin brother Edward Daniels, brother James Daniels, her mother Francis Daniels, father John Daniels Sr and the light of her eye granddaughter Marquita Smith.
