Eric Lorenzo Johnson entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  He was born on his mother's birthday, August 27, 1963, in Woodbury, NJ, to the late Kate and Robert Johnson.

Eric attended Kingsway High School and Salem Vocational and Technical High School.  He played in the KWRHS Band.  He was also a member of the high school Ski Club.   At an early age he joined First Baptist Church and sang in the youth choir.  Eric was employed by the Gloucester County Sheriff's Department and retired as a Correction Officer at the age of 50.

Eric had many hobbies.  His two most enjoyable activities were snowmobiling and car shows.  Each winter he would go to upstate New York with his friends to ride his snowmobile.  In the summer he would take his "show truck" to car shows in the Tri-State area.

Eric was a kind and courteous man who would willingly give his time and talent to help repair anything.  He was a devoted son who made his parents his top priority.  He left us much too soon and will be dearly missed.  May he rest in peace.
