Eula Bertha (Wilson) Lane, was born on February 10, 1940 to the Late Willis and Mae Charles Wilson in Millen, GA. She departed this life on March 14, 2019 after a lengthy illness.

She relocated at a young age and was educated in the Franklin Township School System. She later met and married the love of her life, James R. Lane Sr., June 5, 1971. They were blessed to parent four children.
She was employed by Vineland Developmental Center, where she retired as a Supervisor after many years of service.

Bert, a she was affectionately known, loved vacationing and spending time with family. She joined Truth Baptist Church and was baptized in the late 1940's. Her illness did not allow her to attend church on a regular basis. However, the church was always
in her heart.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Marcus, Anthony, Terrance; eight grandchildren, James III, Devon, Semaj, Toni, Marcus, Isaiah, Giles, Destiny; one great-grandson, Julian; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Lane Sr.; son, James Lane Jr.; her sister, Bessie Rolle; brother, John Wilson.
