Eva D. Taylor 69, of Port Norris, NJ passed unexpectedly on Thursday, November 25, 2022 in the Inspira Medical Center Vineland.

While her family and friends are shocked by her death, they are thankful for her life.

Eva was born in Alma, Georgia to Ruby Lee Stewart and the late James John Moore. She was the wife of Jesse Taylor for 20 years, a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Eva was raised in New Jersey where she attended public school.She was once employed as a housekeeper at the East Landis Hotel in Vineland, NJ and a devoted caregiver to her family (especially to her babies, Ja'mere Lawson, A'Leahya Lawson and Sa'breya Williams).

She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Alloway, NJ under the leadership of Pastor Lawrence Burden. Eva served faithfully as an intercessory prayer warrior and the church mother.

Eva enjoyed family time, reading her bible, praying and encouraging others. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 27 because the Lord was her light and salvation.

Eva's husband, Jesse is grateful and cherish the three day fast that the Lord allowed them to share together without knowing that she would now be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, a week later.

Eva is survived by her husband, Jesse Taylor of Port Norris, NJ; her children, Lisa Harris and her husband (Keith), Pammy Bacon, Willis Joell Moore, and step-daughter, Dominique Taylor-Poole; her sisters, Vertie Cooper, Annette Moore, Connie Moore, Debbie Brown and her husband (JoJo); her brothers, Gerald Moore, James Moore; her mother-in-law, Pastor Mary Armstead; nine grandchidren, 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, James John Moore, sister-in-laws, Lisa Weems and Glenda Johnson.
