George Edward Pope, son of the late Ginney V. Pope and George E. Keaton, departed this life on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at his home.

George was born in Mizpah, NJ on July 17, 1953 and resided in Millville for the past 5 years.  He was last employed by Buffalo Wild Wing as a chef.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Lashawn A. Harris, Kareem Pope and Brandon Mays, stepchildren, Jamal, Quincy and Abdul Redfurn, siblings, Olivet Keaton, Vanessa Jones, Franklin (Arlene) Brown, Samantha Brown, Lauretha Rodgers, Ebony Bailey and Arnetta Keaton, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was pre deceased by a step dad, William David Brown, and two children, William Pope and Valerie Brown.
