Gladys L. Gillespie, 90 of Vineland departed this life on October 19, 2020 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. She was born on January 4, 1930 in Chesterfield, SC to Doretha (Parson) and Henry Allen. Coming from South Carolina, she was a resident of the area for 70 years.

She was a member of United House of Prayer for All People in Vineland where she was on the Queen Board, Daily Adult Usher Board, Senior Usher Board and Back the Attack Board.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Gillespie, Sr.; son, Robert Gillespie Jr.; and 10 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories, children, Duralee Bostic, Larry Bostic, Vanessa Thompson (Clarence), Roberta Waiters and Joyce Battle (Butch); 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Rosena Talley, Priscilla Nivens and Gerlene Stapleton; special friend, Carol McClellan; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
