Gladys M. Willingham's Obituary

Gladys Marie Willingham (Robinson) was born April 30, 1930 in Swainsboro Georgia to the late Mattie and Field Robinson.

She relocated to New Jersey at an early age marrying George Willingham in 1944. To this union 8 children were born. Gladys retired from Anchor Hockins and then devoted her life to volunteering with several organizations and her church.

Gladys joined Union Baptist under the leadership of Reverend Robert Davis over 60 years ago. She was a devoted member and belonged to the Usher Board, The Senior Choir and she cooked for many funerals and weddings held at the church.

Gladys was predeceased by all of siblings; brothers: Louis, Boyjester, Field, Cyde, and Herbert. One sister Robbie. 2 of her children; Patricia and Linda. 2 Grandchildren Olethea and Darryl.

Gladys leaves to cherish her memories daughters; Georgiamae (Peter), Marian (Lester), Evelyn and Angela. Sons; Herman (Ginny) and Harold. Over 25 Grandchildren, a host of Great Grandchildren, and several Great-Great-Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and Special Friend, Mr. Jack. Gladys loved her Pastor Albert Morgan to whom she devoted many years of service to.
