Glenn (Junie) Andrew Ellis was born in Trenton New Jersey on June 12, 1957 to the late Andrew Joseph Ellis and Alice Mearle Ellis. On June 16, 2024 surrounded by his family, heaven sent angels down and gave Glenn (Junie) his wings!

He was raised in Bridgeton, NJ and educated in the Bridgeton Public School System. After high school he moved to East Orange NJ where he resided during his adult life.

Glenn (Junie) was employed at Tomei Construction and went on to work for various other construction companies for many years and retired due to declining health. He loved paving streets in the community and state in which he lived. He would tell family and friends that would visit him which streets were safe to ride on because he paved them.

He loved to fish, hunt, watch old movies(westerns) and spending time with his family and hanging out with friends.

Glenn (Junie) leaves to cherish his memory one son: Calvin Fowler of NY; five sisters: Josephine (Arthur) Speight of Bremerton WA, Glenda Ledbetter of Bridgeton NJ, Zandra Ware of Vineland NJ, Rosalind Holley of Vineland NJ, Javetta Ellis of VA, Winsome Ellis of FL; four grandchildren: Taylor, Neveah, Calvin Jr and Logan. Two special cousins; Glen (Pettie) Smith and Audrey (Mae) Burton, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents and sisters: Zeita Holden, Mary Green and Constance Cunningham.
