Gloria Marleine Coles a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, after a lengthy illness at home in Vineland, N.J. She was born on January 15, 1942, in West Chester, PA to the late Alex and Beryl (Lampkin) Coles. Baptized at an early age, she was an active member of Morning Star Baptist Church, Woodstown, NJ until she moved to Vineland.

Gloria graduated from Salem High School and then attended the Berean Institute of Business in Philadelphia, PA. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Baker's Funeral Home in Philadelphia for several years and then worked part-time at Wesley's Funeral Home in Bridgeton. Gloria was employed by the New Jersey Commission for the Blind for nearly 30 years before she retired.

Gloria became an avid collector of antiques and memorabilia over the years. She could often be found repairing or purchasing unique items for resale. She displayed many of these items at the "Second Time Around," an antique shop in Mullica Hill, NJ. Fondly referred to by family and close friends as, Sissy, she also enjoyed playing tennis and listening to music.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter Patricia Coles of Vineland; her sisters: Brenda(Radcliffe) Bailey of Atlanta, GA, Karen Roache of West Chester, PA, granddaughters Andrea(Terrance) Lake of Bryan, Texas, Michelle(T) Clark of Vineland, NJ; 3 great-grandchildren
Jimira(Malik) Lake-Brown, Tikira Lake, Terrance(Bubby) Lake Jr, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gloria was pre-deceased by brothers: Kenneth, Alexander, George, and a sister Wilhelmina.
