Ida B. Mills was called home to rest on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 she was born on January 16, 1928, in Bridgeton, NJ to the late Priscilla Clark and Wilbur Robinson.  She was the wife of the late Edmond C. Mills.

Ida received her degrees in education from Bowie State University, Maryland and Glassboro State College currently named Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ.  As an educator, Ida taught at many school in Cumberland County, NJ, and her last being Cumberland Regional High School where she retired in 1989.

Ida enjoyed making pom pom quilts up until three years ago.  She also loved listening to Gospel and Country music and going fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond C. Mills, her son, Edmond K. Mills, brother, Richard Brown and grandson, Anthony Mills.

Ida leaves to cherish her memory six daughters, Gwendolyn Young (Presley), Marilyn Mills, Joyce Johnson, Christine Mills, Brenda Mills and Cheryl Mills; one son, Richard Mills (Apolonia); a host of grand children, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
