Jamelle D. Guilford, born on June 11, 1948, in Vineland NJ. She was a beloved daughter to Prince Rupert Guilford & Mattie May Johnson Guilford.
She leave behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Jamelle D. Guilford, worked for many years at Wheaton Glass in Millville, NJ. She later moved from Vineland to Bridgeton NJ and she worked for Four Star Factory as Quality Controller. Jamelle moved back to Vineland NJ and worked for Bishop McCarthy where she retired. Jamelle was a worker at heart because while on retirement she started working for Sheppard Bus as a Bus Aide.
Jamelle was part of Richland Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Mallory, for years and later started attending Mt Pisgah Methodist Church in Vineland NJ, where served as an usher. She was Baptized in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ on September 26, 2020 at First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, under the lead ship of Pastor Gino Jennings in Philadelphia PA.
On March 16, 2024, Jamelle D. Guilford, transitioned this life. Jamelle is preceded in death by her sisters, Dorian Ford, Delores Guilford, Juanita Hicks, Brenda Guilford, her brothers James, Philip, Lloyd, Prince R. Guilford & Wayne Guilford.
She leaves 2 siblings to mourn, her brother, Louis C. Guilford and sister Shirley Blackwell of Richland NJ. She will be deeply missed by her children: April &son in law Michael Mathis of PA, Crystal (Lang) Guilford of NJ, Brandi Guilford of NJ and Calvin Guilford of NJ. Her grandchildren: Averia Guilford of NC, Brynesha Guilford of NC, Brian Russell Jr. of NJ, Derrick Nelson Jr of NJ, Joshua Mathis of NJ, Precious Lang of NJ, Caila Guilford of NJ, Malaysia Horn of NJ, Markiyah Brown of NJ, Marlee Guilford and Cali Guilford of NJ, 12 great grands, a host of beloved nieces & nephews.
As we bid farewell to our mother, let us remember the impact she had on our lives. May the memories we shared bring comfort during this difficult time.
