James Alfred
Bull Sr.
December 12, 1928 – July 13, 2019
James Alfred Bull Sr. was born on December 12, 1928 to the late Solomon and Edna Bull in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was one of four children.
James was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and graduated from Benjamin Franklin high school in 1947.
He excepted Christ at early age and became a member of the Pinkett Tabernacle friendly Methodist church in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and sang on the choir. He was a member there for over 50 years.
James was a truck driver and later became part owner of Bull and Sons Trucking Company that was founded by his father Solomon in 1929.
James owned a collection of Antique Cars. He also enjoyed taking them to Friday night classic car shows.
James was married twice in his lifetime to Rose Mae Albertson (deceased) and Esther Henderson (deceased).
James and Esther moved to Williamstown, New Jersey in 1960.
While sleeping in his bed, God called him home 59 years later.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Antonia Starks and Brenda Houston; two sons James a Bull, Jr. and Michael A. Bull, Sr., 1 brother, William Bull, 1 sister in law, Benjar, 1 son in law, Lorenzo Houston, 2 daughters in law, Brenda Henderson, Tanya Bull, 14 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
