Jimmie Lee, Jr.'s Obituary

Jimmy Lee, Jr. aka Rusty, husband of Barbara Burden Lee, was born on February 8th, 1956 in Trenton, New Jersey to Jimmy Lee, Sr. and Ella Mae (White) Lee.

Rusty attended school in Vineland, New Jersey. During the early 1970's, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, where he served as a combat engineer and earned, among other medals, a medal for sharpshooting. Rusty proudly talked about his time as a U.S. Marine.

Rusty was a people person, and he was the family comedian. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Rusty loved sports. He was an avid fisherman and didn't mind talking about his catch

On July 21st, 2017, Rusty married the love of his life, Barbara Burden. He and Barbara went on to purchase their dream home.

Rusty is survived by his wife Barbara Burden Lee, five sons; Sammie Mason (Heather) of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Jimmie Lee, III of Georgia, Jamez Downing and Jammie Scarborough of Millville, New Jersey and Jayhavin Lee of The Bronx, New York. He is also survived by seven brothers William, Johnny, Roland (Kim), Jermaine (Tameka) all of Millville, New Jersey and Frank (Linda) and Thurston Lee of Bridgeton, New Jersey and 5 sisters; Annie Lee of Bridgeton, New Jersey, Magnolia Lee of Millville, New Jersey, Katherine (Benjamin) Ward of Vineland, New Jersey, Clarissa Lee of Florida and Zerlina Codner of Georgia. Bonus children; Kevin, Jermaine and Torresa Burden and Lisha (Darryl) Lindsey. Rusty also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren; Ya'Niece, Xavus, Saniya, Skia, Aiden, Zjjamir and Zana. Londyn, Eniya, Enovy, Jammie, Jr., Ja'zhyir, Jammie, and Tyrushua. Jamez, Jr. Jamari, Cho'Zyn, and Jo'Siayah. Rusty also leaves to cherish his memory his life long friends, Charles Wilson and David Moye, his in-laws, Henry (Hattie) Burden,  Doris (Winchell) Johnson and William Chappell and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Lee, Sr. and Ella Mae Lee, his sister, Judy NeSmith and two brothers Dorsey Lee and Kenyon Lee.

The family of Mr. Jimmy Lee, Jr. would like to thank each and every one of you for your kind thoughts and deeds during our time of bereavement.
