Jonathan A. Thomas "Bubba" ,63 of Vineland, NJ departed this life Tuesday, September 2 ,2025 at Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, NJ.

Jonathan "Bubba" Thomas, was born in Hahira, GA to Ruby Lee Thomas and the late Johnny Thomas on June 2, 1962. Some years later the "Thomas Family" relocated to Vineland, NJ where Bubba attended Vineland High School and went on to work for Vineland Developmental Center under the State of NJ as a housekeeper where he was admired, As well as during his employment with Forman Mills in Vineland, NJ.

He then returned to Georgia for the last 12+ years where he enjoyed time with family and new friends. Before God called Jonathan home, he worked at "Church Street Cafe as Prep Cook for several years before he returned to NJ. He loved the Cafe Team & Family as they loved and adored "John". He loved to relax and watch his favorite football team "The Pittsburgh Steelers" play a good game.

During his youth Bubba "a.k.a Bubbles" as his church family called him, attended "The United House 0f Prayer For Al1 People" where he was a a part of several bands including "The Untouchables" one of the greatest shout bands in United House of Prayer and "The Heavenly Melodies. He was also a part of one of the greatest percussions section ever. Bubba, the late Bro.Tracey Williams, Bro. Tyrone Scott & Dec. Gary Gingham, were very close never any conflict or confusion between them. Bubbles was a very important part of the band and will dearly be missed.

Jonathan was predeceased by his father Johnny Thomas, Grandmother Maddie Lou Roberts, Son-in-law Jeremy Burton.

Jonathan "Bubba" leaves to cherish his memories his mother Ruby Lee Thomas, two daughters: Monica Burton of Philadelphia, Pa, DeMya Thomas of Vineland, NJ; 3 grandchildren, Lauren, Endia Milyn; two sisters: Sandra (Gary) Elliott, of Vineland, NJ, Ruth (Anthony) Williams of Vineland, NJ; three brothers, Troy (Mary) Thomas, Millville, NJ, Stacy (Jackie) Thomas, Penns Grove, NJ, Athony Thomas of Vineland, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and close friends. Bubba will be deeply missed
