Joseph Dalton Stevens was born on December 8, 1940 to the late Dalton Stevens and Juanita Washington in Sulphur, LA.  He passed away after a short illness on April 25, 2023.  He was a volunteer firefighter in Franklinville, NJ.  He was a carpenter and also enjoyed travelling with his family, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his children Monica Stevens (Derek) of Newfield, NJ, Darryl Stevens (Lyn) of Yukon, OK and Rochelle Stevens of Monroeville, NJ.  He was preceded in death by his wife Elozia and his parents.
