Joyce Phyllis Durham, 58, of Roanoke VA,
passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, peacefully at home after
battling cancer. She was born to the late Irving Durham, Sr. and Ellen Johnson
Durham in Fairton, New Jersey on July 18, 1965.

Joyce had been a resident of Roanoke Va. for the past 20 years with her
companion Oliver R. Green, Jr. and her youngest children Olivia and Joseph by
her side. She was a beautiful and committed friend to many.
Joyce was a graduate of Cumberland Regional H.S class of 1984 and was a
member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indians.

Joyce is survived by her six children, Raymond W. Durham of Bridgeton,
Thomas A. Taylor Jr., Jon A. Stewart of Upper Deerfield Twp and Joseph I.
Green of Roanoke VA; Oliva E. Green of Roanoke VA; her companion Oliver R,
Green, Jr. of Roanoke Virginia; five sisters, Ellen Durham of Rosenhayn, Noa
Brooks (Timothy) of Bridgeton, Lindy Brown (Jeffrey) of Egg Harbor
Township, Kathleen Hannah of Vineland, Marie Bailey (John) of Fairfield Twp
and a sister by heart Maria Green,(over 40 years of friendship) of Fairfield
Twp. a brother, Irving "Butch" Durham, Jr. of Fairfield Twp. As well as several
nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter Rachel N.
Durham Taylor, and her siblings,
Bruce A. Durham, Jeffrey C. Durham, Rebecca M. River, and Cecilia M.
Stewart.
