Judith Ann Nichols's Obituary

Judith Ann Nichols (nee Bunting), daughter of Louise B. Ford and the late Luther W. Bunting, was born on June 16, 1944 in Salem, New Jersey, on the wings of angels, went home to glory on March 12, 2021.

Born to Christian parents, Judy, as she was affectionately known, was led to the Lord at an early age.  She declared Jesus as her personal Savior and joined Haven United Methodist Church where she was active in the Methodist Youth Fellowship, Choir and the Usher Ministry for many years. Judy loved the Lord and, as a young adult, she joined Union Baptist Temple. Later on, she would transfer her membership to St. Matthews Baptist Church in Williamstown, NJ and about two years ago, as she wanted to worship closer to her home, Judy became a member at Truth Baptist Church in Newfield, NJ. Being both personable and friendly, she was a "Door Keeper for the Lord" at both Union Baptist Temple and St. Matthews Baptist Church.

Judy was raised in Quinton Township along with her sister, Theresa and brother, Luther. She attended and graduated from Salem High School in 1963. She attended Pierce Business College where she perfected her organizational skills, which enabled her to own and operate a local store.
Judy studied Phlebotomy for a short time and later on she worked at Vineland Developmental School where she retired with over 20 years of employment.

Judy's pleasant personality served her well and meeting Bobby Nichols proved to be life changing. They fell in love and married on May 28, 1988. Together, they built a house and Judy used her first-class homemaker skills to turn it into a home. An enthusiastic home decorator with perfect taste, Judy was a fantastic cook who could create delicious meals. As a Fine Arts Connoisseur, Judy loved and appreciated the art of collecting "fine collectibles", specializing in All God's Children and Thomas Blackshear collections.

Judy's heart was as large as her extensive wardrobe of beautiful clothing and jewelry; yet her heartstrings were her beloved children, Arthur Seabrook, Jr. and Erica Hill (Donald). Her love for her grandchildren was undeniable and she was always very happy when in their presence. As
a devoted grandmother, Judy spent considerable quality time with Jonathan (Keri); Dale (Michele); Amanda (Raymond); Donald Hill, Jr.; Mach, Jr; Eric; Arthur III (AJ); Kristopher; Arthur O; Mikyla; and Rachel.  Judy found such delight in her great grandchildren: Julian; Shiloh, Eva, Zipporah, and Sadie. Her beloved Goddaughter, Judith Mosby, was her namesake.

As an extensive world traveler and co-owner of BJ Tours with her husband, Bobby Nichols, Judy would find excitement in researching exotic and faraway places to visit with her beloved husband Bobby, family and friends.  Her travels included Europe, Latin and South America,
several provinces in Canada and the Caribbean Islands.

Judy loved her family and friends and could often be found demonstrating her "Master" card playing skills, beating everyone at board games and reading books with her "Literary Sistah Girlz Book Club".  Judy belonged to the Ravishing Royals Red Hatters of Cumberland County and was an avid bowler and excellent quilter.

Judy was pre-deceased by her father, Luther W. Bunting, Sr.; her brother-in-law, Mark Nichols and Godson, Kevin Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband Bobby; mother, Louise Ford; sister, Theresa Robinson; brother, Luther Bunting (Sharon); children Arthur Seabrook, Jr.; Erica Hill (Donald); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; maternal aunts, Alice Jean Rolle and Helen Craddock; brothers-in law, Harold (Victoria) and George (Wynette); nieces, nephews, many cousins; The Seabrook Family; and a host of friends, co-workers and neighbors.
