Julia A. Ragsdale, 66, a devoted Jehovah Witness, fell asleep in death on Friday, January 22, 2021 in Cooper Medical Center. Julia was looking forward to the days written at Rev. 21:4 where "there would be no more death nor mourning", but also believed the words at John 5:28-29 "for those who pass away in this system have the hope of resurrection."

Julia was born January 22, 1955 to James and Evelyn (Braime) Ragsdale in Camden, NJ and raised in Vineland, NJ. She graduated from Vineland High School before relocating to Philadelphia, PA where she began a twenty-year career in banking. In 1987, Julia found her calling in Jehovah's Organization and dedicated her life shortly thereafter, becoming a member of the Sherwood Park Conservation.

Julia moved back to Vineland, NJ in 1991 to secure a better future for her son, Nicholas, and to assist her then ailing mother, Evelyn. She continued in faith at the Vineland English Congregation. Julia was a kind, loving, yet stern independent woman who said what she meant and meant what she said. She enjoyed her cats, music, traveling, and spending time with family/friends…especially her grandson Dominic.

Julia is survived by her son, Nicholas Ragsdale-Peel, his wife Tricia, and grandson Dominic of Grasonville, MD; two sisters Laura Brown (William) of Newfield, NJ, Marlene Hamilton (Charles) of Darby, PA; two brothers, Marshall Ragsdale of Vineland, NJ, Mark Ragsdale of Los Angeles, CA; special friend Brother Bob Allen and too many nieces, nephews, and cousins to name.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents James and Evelyn Ragsdale; three brothers, Ronald Ragsdale (Carmen), Richard Ragsdale (Minnie), Mervin Ragsdale (Ezelia); and four sisters, Lois Arlene Blakely, Loretta Tejada (Rafael), Sylvia Wright and Cheryl Wade (Howard).Julia
