Karen was born in Brooklyn New York to Lewis Edwards Jr. and Irma Williams.

She worked in New York for Cerebral Palsy for ten years. Then she worked for TJ max in the fitting room in New York. She enjoyed her job because it gave her a chance to meet people.

When her mom became ill they moved to New Jersey to live with her cousin Judy, where she lived for sixteen years. Until the Lord called her home. Karen loved the Lord. She loved to get her praise on; she would grab you by the arm and dance with you. She could be found celebrating her Lord at Christlike Ministries in Vineland NJ.

She loved watching movies; Hallmark, The Cosby Show and the Little House on the Prairie. She loved gospel music. Karen was an Angel small in stature but big in heart. The family all called her cuz.

Karen will be remembered for her kindness and generous smile. Her contagious laugh, and her big hugs and the love of her family and Church family Christlike Ministries.

She leaves to mourn her loss her cousin and caregiver Judith Fleming, Bill Thomas, Yvie Thomas, James Fleming Jr., Natasha Fleming, Naji Johnson, Tanya Fleming Johnson, Jayceon Johnson, Alanah Fleming, Alayah Fleming, sister-in-law Debbie Edwards, and a host of cousins, her Church family Christlike Ministries and Neighbors.

She was predeceased by her parents and only brother Glen Edwards.
