Kathleen Sue Granger, known to everyone as Kathy, was born February 16, 1959, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. She was the 7th of 9 siblings. On Sunday, January 25, 2026, while in Hospice care at Inspira Hospital, Mullica Hill, Kathy's pain ceased as she went on to be with the Lord.

At an early age Kathy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Mullica Hill, NJ. She served the lord by being a member of the Youth Choir and the Junior Usher Board.

Kathy attended Harrison Township Elementary School, and Clearview Regional Jr & Sr High Schools. She later attended Gloucester County Community College and earned her Associate's Degree.

Kathy married Tyrone Durham in 1979, with her first son, they had 5 more children, losing one to miscarriage, raising all 5 until their divorce. She later married D'Artenya Granger, whom she loved and cared for until her passing.

Kathy loved to talk, and she loved doing it with her family and friends. She had a special joy for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She had a caretaker's heart, always wanting to make a pound cake for those she loved or feed those in her presence.

In October of 2024, Kathy was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. As she battled with a diagnosis, she never ceased to care for those around her, never putting herself first. In her f inal days, she showed this by wanting to be home and caring for her husband.  She never stopped caring for others up until her final moments.

Kathleen Sue Durham was predeceased by her parents, Henry & Alice Harris, brothers Truman Washington & Carter Harris, and her daughter, Alicia Durham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Husband D'Artenya, her siblings: Henry (Chuckie) Harris Jr, David (Brucie) Harris, Irene Jenkins (David), Elwood Harris (Lorraine), Allen Harris (Tonda), and Eva Tention (Tony), her children: Anthony Durham (Nikkia), Tyrone Durham, John Durham, Christopher Durham, Latrisha Johnson (John), Joey Granger and multitude of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
