Kenneth Alan Farmer, Sr. 60 of Vineland went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 19, 2021 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. He was born in Bridgeton, NJ on December 30, 1960 to Mary (Bell) Farmer and the late Joseph N. Farmer, Sr.
Kenny attended Bridgeton Junior High School and Graduated with the Class of 1979 from Cumberland Regional High School. He then attended Casino Dealer School and Cumberland County College.
At an early age, he attended Bethel Pentecostal Church in Bridgeton, NJ and later became a member of Faith Tabernacle Community Church in Clayton, NJ where he held positions as a Deacon and Trustee.
He was formerly employed by Resorts International (Blackjack Dealer) the same day he graduated from high school, Bradway Trucking (Class A Driver), Enviro Tech, Trump Taj Mahal (Poker Supervisor), LoBiondo Express (Class A Driver), and (SEPTA) Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.
Kenny was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. He was unendingly proud of Kenneth A. Farmer Jr. (earning BA in Criminal Justice, becoming an officer at Vineland Police Department, establishing a farm and trucking business), Da' Janae T. Farmer (earning BA in Criminal Justice, Minor Sociology, Certificate of undergraduate studies in Social Justice and Social Change, and Spanish), and Theresa L. Farmer and always tried his best to support them. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, and hanging out with his wife and children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph N. Farmer, Sr. Myron L. Hickman (Father in-law), Mazerine Marie Hickman (Mother in-law), brother- in-law, John Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Theresa L. (Hickman) Farmer; son, Kenneth A. Farmer, Jr. (Kia); daughter, Da'Janae T. Farmer; God daughter, Jodi Tatum (Jason); mother, Mary Farmer; brother, Joseph N. Farmer, Jr. (Leethel); sisters, Barbara A. Harris (Leroy) and Minerva L. Miller (Valdemar); sisters in law, Cynthia Hayward, Linda Hickman, Maxine Gee, Sharon Williams; best friends, Paul Pitts and John Burks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
