Kevin Phillip Wilkinson was born in Vineland, New Jersey, at Newcomb Hospital, on June 23, 1962. He is the son of the late Joan Diane Wilkinson.

He attended Vineland Public Schools up to the 11th grade and then transferred to Buena High School to complete the 12th grade. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army. While serving in the military he was a Cannon Fire Direction Specialist. After an honorable discharge, he was employed by Comar Glass for several years, then decided to work at the Salem New Jersey Nuclear Power Plant.

Kevin enjoyed sports and good food. He loved children and spoiled every child he could. He also enjoyed helping family and friends. He was the kind of person that gave money to the homeless, not only for food but often times he would pay for them to stay in a hotel room for a couple of days. Kevin with all his craziness was a good-hearted person.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory one son Kevin P. (Teddy) Wilkinson, Jr., brothers: Keith P. Wilkinson, Kenny Cohen, Keith Burden, sister Karen Wilkinson, niece Tosha Lopez, nephews: Calvin P. Wilkinson, Calvin P. Wilkinson, Jr., Morgan Jones, godfather Pastor Albert Morgan, goddaughter Shania Santiago, other mother Mrs. Whelma Irby, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
