Yum) Lee Myers
September 9, 1962 – November 13, 2022
I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, Kevin Lee Myers., on November 13, 2022.
He passed away suddenly at the age of 60. My dad enjoyed, visiting family whenever he could, and he was always cracking a joke and his huge smile was contagious.
He leaves behind to mourn, 2 daughters, Myra Smith ( Gabriel ), grand children ANYRAH, ELIJAH, ARIYAH, EMONIE, Daughter Christian Cox (Elijah ) Aniyah and Elijah Jr, sister Dr Alberta Morgan (Pastor Anthony) , and a host of nieces, nephews, family and also his loving companion for many years, Charlotte Holland, and numerous friends.
He is Pre-deceased by his Mother Madis Myers father George Myers Jr, and his brother George Myers lll.
At a young age Kevin what is involved in community sports; baseball and football, he attended Bridgeton Schools , and Detroit Michigan schools.
He loved throwing a ball, His smile and joked would light up a room making everyone in the room laugh, nickname was yum yum, and sweet daddy. He loves his nieces and nephews, as if they were his own children, he loved talking on the phone with them, spending time with them whenever he could was important to him over the years he has had several handy man jobs he was skilled with his hands, but the one job he loved the most was being a barber He almost always had his clippers with him and ready to use his dynamic skills.
He was very knowledgeable and skilled in writing briefs to help other inmates be free under appeal and there were a number of them that did go free.
Although there were a lot of twists and turns in his life he would always say I have faith and I believe God got me as a child. He was a member of Union Baptist temple, where he was baptized at a young age. In later years he joined Tabernacle Of Faith Christian Center, Sicklerville, NJ
He truly loved his entire family.
