Leroy Myrie, also known as Lee, was born on December 22, 1947 to the late Louise Bartley in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica (Porus). Leroy was 77 years old when he passed and is survived by three brothers Trevor Brown (Faye) of Georgia, Headley Brown (Marcia) of Vineland, NJ, Julian Bartley of Kingston, Jamaica and and four sisters, Yvonne Savery (Gersham), Roselyn Brown, Valerie Morrison (Gresford), and Angela Pace (Rodney) all of Vineland, NJ.

Leroy Myrie met his wife Lois in 1972 whom he later married and would spend 54 years of his life with. Their union produced five children: Claude Myrie (Tracy), Leroy Myrie, Jr. (Nami), Paul Myrie (deceased), Curtis Myrie, and Eric Myrie (deceased). Leroy leaves behind nine grandchildren. Claude Myrie Jr. and Emerald Myrie (Claude), Aleesha Myrie, Jordyn Myrie, Yasmin Myrie, Rosalie Myrie, Sophia Myrie, and Layla Myrie (Leroy), and Ashyrah Mitchell (Curtis).

Leroy migrated from Porus, Manchester to Kingston, Jamaica in 1967 where he met his wife, Lois Myrie. Leroy worked at the Wray and Nephew distillery and the cheese factory of Kingston, Jamaica before migrating to the US at 29 years old where he settled in Vineland, NJ. Lee was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed the time he spent with his grandkids. Leroy worked in two Casinos in Atlantic City, including the Showboat Casino for many years. Leroy also worked at Progresso Quality Foods in Vineland, NJ and later retired from the company after 10
years of service.

Leroy enjoyed watching his favorite team the Philadelphia Eagles play each weekend during the football season and especially enjoyed when they battled in the playoffs, championships, and Superbowl. Lee leaves behind his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
